“Do you love your neighbors?”
I’m not close to my nearby neighbors. We sometimes exchange casual greetings especially during special occasions but we don’t really engage in long talks. I’m grateful that they are quiet neighbors. I’ve never had a problem with them. I have a few friends inside the village. We see each other from time to time.

What graduation memories do you hold dear in your heart and why?
First of all, congratulations to Julie’s eldest daughter on her grade 7 graduation. Wishing her more promising opportunities in life.
I have fond memories of my Grade 7 graduation. We wore our school uniform underneath a white toga. My friends and I were excited about the idea of HS. Our biggest concern at that time was whether we’ll end up as classmates again. My parents had a party for me at home after the graduation ceremonies. I was thrilled because my long time neighbor crush came to my party.
HS graduation was a little emotional. My friends and I had chosen different courses and different schools. We were both excited and also scared of transferring to new schools and meeting new people.
I decided not to attend College graduation. My parents and my brother were already in the States at that time and I just didn’t feel like marching on stage without them. I didn’t exactly feel bad or anything. I just went out with friends to celebrate that day.

Julie has written a post about BB Gandanghari in this post.
So let’s try to be a little showbiz this time and write down our thoughts when BB said that Rustom is dead when he came out.
Honestly at first, I could believe his decision to come all out and declare a totally new persona. However, it’s a bold move that merits some form of admiration. Not everyone has the courage to fight for one’s happiness especially when it means going out of the norm. I just wish BB to find the happiness she deserves.
I was tagged by Maiylah of Maiylah’s Snippets.
This tag is quite easy to do. Just find the sixth shot from your sixth album in your picture files, then post it on your blog.
The photo below was taken last year. My family dropped by Dayrit’s to have some snacks. I love Dayrit’s burger and roast beef sandwich.

I’m not tagging anyone but I welcome anybody who is interested to play along.

What are your favorite romantic movies of all time?
I love watching romantic films. Here are some of my favorite romantic movies that I never get tired of watching:
- An Affair to Remember
- Sabrina
- Pretty in Pink
- Sleepless in Seattle
- You’ve Got Mail
- Pretty Woman
- Love Affair
- My Bestfriend’s Wedding
- Meet Joe Black
- A Walk in the Clouds

Consideration to others for me is about courtesy.
It does not entail people to bow their heads in reverence to other people, not its not that.
Consideration encompasses not just respecting the opinions of other people, recognizing their personal space and doing things not just for your own benefit but for the benefit of others too. It shows in courtesy, knowing that there are other people besides yourself.
One of the things I don’t like to see are people who show (intentionally or unintentionally) actions that clearly do not show the proper decorum, especially when they are in public.
Take a look at this photo I took last week while I was waiting for my to-go order from a popular local food chain:

What would you do if you see this in a restaurant?
I realized that there are a lot of inconsiderate people. I’ve witnessed a lot of similar incidents (referring to photo above). It’s sad how some people do not practice good manners in public.
If I see a similar situation in a restaurant, I don’t think I would do something about it. People should be conscious that this is against good hygiene practice.
Here are a few more inconsiderate things/behavior that annoy me:
- toilets that are not flushed properly
- people using their cellphones inside the movie theater
- people talking loudly inside the movie theater
- persons cutting into the line
- grocery carts abandoned precariously at the parking lot

Q: What are the special things that you look forward to every Sunday?
I love laid back Sundays. Every Sunday, we have hot pandesal delivered to our house. We love eating pandesal for breakfast. Even Yohan, who is a picky eater loves it. My hubby often cooks something special for lunch and dinner.

Q: How do you pursue peace in your life?
I pursue personal peace by trying my best to live an honest life. A clear conscience always gives a person a sense of peace within. I’m not perfect but I try my best to avoid hurting other people. I sleep better at night knowing I didn’t hurt someone’s feelings.

Q: As we cap the celebration of All Saints Day and All Souls Day, the Weekly Question will focus on our departed loved ones. No, I am not asking you to play favorites with the question.
Who among your dearly departed hold(s) a special place in your heart?

Photo taken last All Saints’ Day.
I miss my grandparents. I miss my maternal grandmother. I remember when she let me go “fishing” in her small backyard fish pond. I caught a crab using a makeshift bamboo fishing rod.
When I was born, my maternal grandfather was already gone. I didn’t have the chance to meet him but my mom showed me many photos of him. I also miss my paternal grandfather. I remember how much he doted on me and my brother when we went to the province for vacation. He loved cooking for us. He always prepared the best crabs, prawns and batchoy.

Q: Who is the most annoying person that you have been unfortunate to have met in person? - Greenbucks
I had a former colleague who I found so annoying beyond reason. Honestly, it’s hard for me to explain but his face and his voice irritated me. We were a so-called ‘team’ because our responsibilities at the office were interconnected. It was ‘agony’ when I had to work overtime with him.
