I love getting hugs from Yohan. He loves giving them even to his teachers. I’m always touched whenever a teacher tells me how sweet my son is. Let me share this simple but very meaningful line…

Tonight we’re having a small birthday celebration for Yohan. He turned 5 yesterday and he had a birthday celebration in school. Tonight we’re having another celebration at home for the family. Yohan is very excited to see his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Hubby is currently busy preparing food for the guests. He is making BBQ ribs, fresh green salad and crispy fried chicken. For dessert, he will make sponge cake topped with fresh fruits and ice-cream. Yaya made my favorite spaghetti.
I have gained considerable weight over the past few months and after tonight, I’m sure I will gain more. I might be needing the help of some weight loss pills to help me lose those extra pounds.

Yesterday was Yohan’s birthday. He turned five years old. It’s really amazing how much time have passed. I feel blessed for all the wonderful years I’ve spent with him. I long to witness more of his milestones in life. I wish him best of health and a wonderful future.
My son is turning five years old next week. A few years have already passed but I still remember how excited my husband and I were to learn the gender of our baby. Some friends urged us not to ask our doctor about the baby’s gender. They claim that keeping it a suspense until the last minute will make the day of birth more exciting. My husband and I, however, just couldn’t contain our excitement. We wanted to know right away because we wanted to start buying clothes and things for our baby. Knowing the gender would be a great help when it comes to buying baby things. We found out that we were going to have a baby boy during the ultrasound. At that time, the 3D ultrasound was still new so I only had the 2D ultrasound. I still have that special piece of paper which I have added to my son’s baby book. When we learned we were going to have a baby boy, we started thinking of baby boys names and after so many choices, we ended up with the name Yohan. It is derived from my husband’s favorite soccer player, Johan Cruyff.
Yohan loves collecting Transformers. He has accumulated a number of Transformers over the years. My husband and I bought majority of them but some were given to Yohan as gifts.
The other day, hubby and I saw the new Transformers Animated figures at the mall. We decided to buy one for Yohan for his upcoming birthday. He doesn’t know that we bought him one because we intend it to be a surprise. We gave Yohan the poster of Transformers Animated. He was very happy about it and insisted that his Dad put up the poster right away. I’m sure he will be several times happier when he gets his surprise gift.

My four year old son, Yohan loves looking at the fish tank filled with guppies and sword tails in school. We have a small empty aquarium at home so I was inspired to buy Yohan some guppies and sword tails of his own. Yohan was very happy about his new pets.
It’s a brand new school year. Yohan is an incoming kinder student. I accompanied Yohan to school today and I met his new teacher. I like her because she has a warm and friendly personality.
Yohan was happy to see his old classmates and meet new ones. I’m glad because he already made new friends.
My son, Yohan had a fun summer vacation. He had a great time at the beach last month. Playing in the sand, wading in the water and looking for sea shells are the favorite things he enjoys doing at the beach. Summer is over and I’m sure he’s going to miss the beach.
