Last Friday, hubby and I went to the mall to buy a new TV set. We have been contemplating on getting an LCD since last year. Our plan to have one materialized last Friday.  Before making the purchase, we went around stores and compared features of different brands. We also compared their prices.  I also made online search about TV brands.  Luckily, there were many irresistible offers this years.  Many TV brands are offering various TV packages.  Some TV manufacturers are giving customers valuable promotional tie-ups. Our packaged includes an LCD TV, home theater system and DVD. Other TV comes with a rackmount.

When I first got my laptop, I was excited to have wi-fi access at home. I loved the thought of wireless Internet in the comfort of my own home. I immediately bought a Linksys router. I had some difficulty installing it at first because it was not compatible with my modem. When I called my Internet provider, they came to my house to change my old modem into another unit that compliments my router. After that, I enjoyed wi-fi at home.

It’s always sad when someone in the family is sick. A few days ago, I learned that my uncle in the province is in the ICU because of lung problems. I have been receiving updates from my aunt and my cousin about the situation of my uncle. I found out recently that he is recuperating and is scheduled to be transferred to a better hospital. The whole family is hoping for his quick recovery.

Good health is something that everyone wishes on themselves and the people they love. We should always take good care of our health through proper exercise and diet. Only two more weeks and it’s a brand new school year.  It’s time to buy school supplies and other school essentials. When my husband and I found out that we were going to have a baby, we started looking for suitable names for our child. We looked for both girl and boy names that appealed to us.   My husband and I also looked deeper by checking the name meanings of our choices.  Choosing a name for our child was not that easy.  There were so many beautiful names to choose from and it was a challenge to choose just one in the list. The list got shorter when we found out the gender of our baby. The doctor told us that we were going to have a boy so we focused on all the boy names we had chosen.  Our final name choice was Yohan, German name for John which means God’s gracious gift.
