Today is the 1st of July. It’s surprising that half of the year has gone by so quickly. Just a few more weeks and it will be Yohan’s birthday. My son is turning five soon. Sometimes I look back and wonder where did all that time go. Time passes so quickly. We should really appreciate every wonderful moment.
I’ve been busy doing household chores lately since the household helper is on vacation. My hubby and I divide the household chores. My hubby is in charge of going to the market and cooking while I wash the dishes and do the cleaning.
I was washing the dishes earlier when my 4-yr old son said, “Mommy, just tell me if you need me.” I immediately turned off the faucet and gave him a kiss. I told him how much I appreciate those words.
They say that you can’t give a hug without getting one in return. I just love waking up in the morning and receiving a hug from my son. It’s something worth looking forward to everyday.
It’s a cold, windy Friday morning. I had a hard time getting up from bed because the cold weather makes me want to stay under the covers and sleep some more. It’s a school day so I had to force every sleepy part of myself to get up.
Happy Thursday to all! Monday has been announced as a holiday in celebration of the Edsa Revolution. Yehey! Looking forward to a long and hopefully relaxing weekend. Take care!
Favorite people, favorite places,
favorite memories of the past …
These are the joys of a
lifetime … these are the
things that last. ~ anonymous
There are times when I’m in the mood to drift back in time. Remembering memorable events in the past. I like to focus on happy memories of yesterday. Those thoughts always bring a smile to my face. I’m thankful for these memories. Reliving memorable moments can be uplifting and inspiring.
