“Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us.” ~Hal Borland
Hope everyone had a memorable Christmas and New year celebration.
I’m grateful for all the blessings in 2008 and I look forward to a wonderful 2009.
My family and I would like to wish you a promising New Year. May you have best of health, success, and happiness this 2009. God bless.

Q: What frugal or practical Christmas tips (does your family practice) that you can share to cut down on Christmas-related expenses but not necessarily sacrificing on quality?
Instead of buying expensive gifts, we give out baked goodies (personally baked by hubby) to family and friends. Last year, we gave out Pineapple Carrot Cake in Christmas boxes.

Q: Are you happy?
I could say that I’m happy. I’m grateful for all the wonderful blessings that God has bestowed on me and the people I love. We may not be rich but I’m happy that we have a comfortable life. I’m grateful for my family’s good health.
My hubby and son surprised me with a dozen roses yesterday. It was a sweet gesture that I really appreciated. I’m thankful to everyone who greeted me on my special day.

Life is a splendid gift -
there is nothing small about it.”
