I just finished eating a personal sized Pizza Pedrico. The extra loaded Sausage and Cheez variant was good. Hubby bought a box of frozen personal pizzas the other day. This is the first time he bought frozen pizza and it’s surprisingly good. Just a few minutes inside the oven and it’s ready. It’s a perfect snack in between performing online writing tasks.
There are three more variants left: Chorizo and Cheez; Ham + Pineapple and Cheez; and Ham + Sausage and Cheez. I think we’ll have those later in the afternoon. Pizza and a nice DVD will make a perfect combination.
Thinking of daily school snacks for kids can be a challenging task. Kids can easily get bored with the same type of snacks. To make snacks more appealing to kids, avoid repetition.
If you give your child pastries today, don’t give him pastries again the following day. Perhaps you can prepare a pasta dish (macaroni and cheese, spaghetti, lasagna, etc.) for your child the following day. Make your kid’s favorite sandwich on another day. For little kids, you can add a little fun to their sandwiches by using big cookie cutters to form cute sandwiches. Other snack suggestions that you can serve during the week are cookies, biscuits, fresh fruits and rice toppings.
I’m thankful to my hubby for satisfying my craving for biko, a Filipino native delicacy. Biko is a sweet rice cake made of glutinous rice, brown sugar and coconut milk. The challenging part in making biko is the continuous stirring. That’s why I appreciate all of hubby’s efforts in making this delicious snack.
Filipinos often serve kakanin during special occasions because they believe that the stickiness of the kakanin unites and bring people closer to each other. This superstitious belief is still being practiced today.
I helped hubby bake 50 cupcakes for a friend. He did all the baking. I helped by putting on the chocolate icing and shavings. I used white chocolate shavings to give it a contrast in color.
It has been a tiring but rewarding day. Hope the birthday celebrant will enjoy the cupcakes.
Took advantage of Hamburger Day at Brothers Burger (50% off on Big Brothers Burger) yesterday with Jules, Yohan and hubby’s family. Jules’ cousin treated us.
It was a great promo but the waiting time was terrible. Imagine one hour waiting period. There were a lot of orders. I guess a lot of people grabbed the opportunity of the one day promo.
I confess that I have a weakness for desserts. I easily get tempted by sights of cakes, chocolates and ice-cream. I guess it’s safe to say that I’m not the only one with this kind of weakness. My friend recommended a Chocolatier place in Makati. I haven’t visited the place yet but I saw several photos of their mouthwatering desserts. They have an extensive selection of chocolate cakes and desserts plus a tempting gelato bar. Regulars of that chocolate heaven must be in dire need to check out fat burner review. I can’t blame them. I’m sure I would be tempted to try their delectable sweet desserts when I go there with my family.
I’ve been craving for a good hamburger for a several days now. I found out from my friend that I can get big discounts on selected Brothers Burger’s today in line with their 10th anniversary celebration.
Today you can get Brothers Pounder for P135 and Big Brothers Burger for P85. Those were the prices back in 1999. This offer is only good for one day.
I would like to take advantage of it but I have a busy day ahead. It’s tempting so let’s see …
I love donuts! Today is the perfect day for donut lovers to celebrate. Hope you get your doughnut fix today and enjoy every single bite. I’m craving for some KK glazed donuts right now.
This self-serve frozen yogurt is delicious. I love the freedom of making your own yogurt ensemble. There are different frozen yogurt flavors to choose from: vanilla, chocolate, peach, lychee, mango tart and more.
The toppings seem endless. Among the toppings I remember are grapes, apples, kiwi, blueberry, cherries, gummy bears, gummy worms, Oreo cookie, chocolate bits, marshmallows, candy sprinkles and many more.
Yesterday we tried a new yogurt place. We were drawn to the place because of its trendy exterior. Inside was twice as nice. I love the cozy and colorful interior. There were several yogurt machines lined up with different kinds of flavors. It’s a self service place. A customer can choose any yogurt flavor and as much toppings as he want. Yogurt madness is what I call it. The yogurt is fat free but the toppings are not. People who frequent dessert places like this will need safe weight loss supplements to keep unwanted weight at bay. Dessert is so hard to resist. A meal seems incomplete when there’s no dessert.
