It’s a brand new school year. Yohan is an incoming kinder student. I accompanied Yohan to school today and I met his new teacher. I like her because she has a warm and friendly personality.
Yohan was happy to see his old classmates and meet new ones. I’m glad because he already made new friends.
Summer vacation is officially over. Yohan is set to go back to school on Tuesday. It’s another school year. I already bought all his materials for school and I need to label all of them later today. Time to set the alarm clock. I guess I have to get used to sleeping early and waking up at dawn again.
Math is one of the most important subjects in school because many other subjects use Math concepts. Math is often considered as the least favorite subject of students because many find it difficult and challenging. Club Z provides Math Tutoring services dedicated to help students improve their grades and their test results. Club Z also aims to help students achieve their best potential.

Parents should learn to accept and respect every child’s uniqueness. Children can show signs of excellence and increased interest in a particular subject than others.
Some children are linguistic learners while others excel as logical learners. Some children are more inclined as musical learners and others rely on their skilled motor skills making them kinesthetic learners. Spatial learners show high interest in creating things and naturalistic learners have great interest on outdoor activities. There are children who make good leaders because of their interpersonal skills. Children with high intrapersonal characteristics have strong sense of what is right or wrong.
Discover what aspect your child is more inclined to excel and learn how to develop and nurture that side of him.

If you have a young child, encourage him to learn new words and their definitions using a Picture Dictionary. It’s a great way to introduce new words by connecting them with colorful photos. A Picture Dictionary is a nice visual material for young students especially preschoolers.

We are committed to allow children to be themselves as they are and to have fun while they learn. We do not demand that children “be the best”, but we do expect them to try their best. We want children to feel secure taking risks, trying hard and making mistakes. Our philosophy is to treat children with dignity and respect, to build their confidence and self esteem and to help them grow as individuals. Every da, every class. That’s “The Little Gym Way”.
- The Little Gym
When my son was one year old, we enrolled him at The Little Gym in Alabang. Yohan attended several Parent-Child Motor Development Programs until he was three years old. My husband and I would take turns accompanying Yohan inside the gym. We enjoyed the fun development and rhythmic activities. There were also group games, tumbling, movement exploration, songs, ball play and parachute activities.
Yohan only stopped attending Little Gym classes when we enrolled him in Nursery in Nazareht School near our area. Alabang is too far from us so it was too impractical to enroll him in the The Little Gym Pre-School Program, also called Terrific Tots.
My husband and I plan to enroll him again at the gym when we can come up with a good schedule to balance Yohan’s school and extra curricular activities.
