Safety Tip :: Road Trip Car Check
Are you preparing for a road trip with your family or friends? Remember to check the condition of your car before packing your bags. Road safety should always be one of your top priorities when going on a trip. Make sure your car is in good condition. Here are some car check safety tips:
- Fluids - Check your car’s oil, coolant and brake fluid levels.
- Lights - Determine if all your lights and signals are properly functioning. Replace defective bulbs.
- Battery - Make sure your car battery has no problem. Clean the battery if you see accumulation of corrosion around the terminals. Replace if needed.
- Tires - Make sure your tires can take that long road trip. Watch out for tire wear problems. Ensure proper air pressure.
- Air con - When traveling during a warm season, make sure your air conditioning compressor is in good condition.
