Yohan celebrated his sixth birthday last Saturday. We had a small celebration for the family at home. Hubby prepared Japanese food for dinner and he also cooked spaghetti as a symbol for long life. The highlight of the evening was the game we prepared for the family. The name of the game was “How well do you know Yohan?”. Hubby and I prepared some questions about Yohan and some small prizes. Yohan acted as the “game master” by reading the questions and giving out the prizes. Everyone had a terrific time.
Earlier today, Yohan had another celebration. He had a post birthday celebration in school. We brought food, cake and loot bags for Yohan’s teachers and classmates. It was a fun day for all.
We just attended a party last night and we are off to another one today. My family and I were invited to attend a double birthday party. It’s the joint celebration of our family friend’s grand daughters. It’s a children’s party and my son is very excited. There will be a lot of fun games and activities for sure. I’m expecting a lot of tempting sweets which will make Lipovox quite handy.

Last Wednesday, my friend, Siony treated my family to a nice lunch at Max’s. She also brought along her daughter, Colenn who happens to be Yohan’s classmate in Kindergarten. We celebrated three special occasions: her birthday, my hubby’s birthday and her wedding anniversary. It was a post celebration of all those special occasions. Siony misses her husband who works as a chef in a luxury cruise ship so she decided to celebrate their day as well.
It was a hearty lunch. We ordered Max’s friend chicken, pancit and my favorite kare-kare (a popular Filipino dish). We didn’t have room for dessert so we skipped it. If I keep having luncheons like this, I would have to resort to taking pills for diet.
Yohan celebrated his 5th Birthday last Friday (July 18). I couldn’t believe my little boy has grown so fast. Here are my 5 Birthday Wishes for my son…
- happiness
- best of health
- good grades
- wonderful friends
- fun, fun, fun

Tonight we’re having a small birthday celebration for Yohan. He turned 5 yesterday and he had a birthday celebration in school. Tonight we’re having another celebration at home for the family. Yohan is very excited to see his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Hubby is currently busy preparing food for the guests. He is making BBQ ribs, fresh green salad and crispy fried chicken. For dessert, he will make sponge cake topped with fresh fruits and ice-cream. Yaya made my favorite spaghetti.
I have gained considerable weight over the past few months and after tonight, I’m sure I will gain more. I might be needing the help of some weight loss pills to help me lose those extra pounds.

Yesterday was Yohan’s birthday. He turned five years old. It’s really amazing how much time have passed. I feel blessed for all the wonderful years I’ve spent with him. I long to witness more of his milestones in life. I wish him best of health and a wonderful future.
My hubby and son surprised me with a dozen roses yesterday. It was a sweet gesture that I really appreciated. I’m thankful to everyone who greeted me on my special day.
