One of the best gifts I received this Christmas is a Nikon D3100 DSLR from my Dad and Mom. It’s a great gift because I love taking pictures. It’s also a timely gift because my Sony DSC-T300 point and shoot camera is having issues. I need to bring it to the Sony service center for a check up.

I’m happy to finally have my own DSLR. I’m still learning about its various features. My brother-in-law lent me some of his digital photography magazines. I’m excited to learn how to take great photos using my new camera.
