Lighting the Advent Wreath

Last Sunday, the priest blessed the village’s Advent Wreath at the beginning of the mass.  My family was given the privilee ge of lighting the first purple candle of the Advent Wreath.  It’s a wonderful reminder that Christmas is almost here.  Everyone is excited to celebrate the happiest time of the year.
