Q: What are you looking forward to in 2009?
There are many negative visions about 2009 but I refuse to accept them. I’m still hopeful for a great year for me and my family.
Yohan is finishing Kindergarten this year and he will be Prep next school year. Time flies so fast. I just want to cherish my moments with him. I’m sure there will come a time when I won’t be his favorite playmate anymore so for now I relish our play time together.
I’m excited about summer vacation. I would love to go somewhere new this time with the family. There are so many beautiful places in the country that we have yet to visit.
I’ve gained SO much weight last year. I want to have a healthier lifestyle this year. More exercise and more healthy food intake.
I agree that 2009 forecasts are grim, especially when it comes to financial matters. With the war in the ME, there are so many negative things happening but we have to stay positive.
Anyway, according to Chinese beliefs, roosters are “lucky” this year, and even if I don’t really believe these, I feel confident because I’m a rooster

ps. accdg to T. Julie roosters are supposed to be lucky this year? i was born in the year of the rooster…lol.
