I saw this one walking along our garden. It was walking in a hurry but managed to take a photo. We fondly refer to it as “singsing hari” or roughly translated as ring of king. When you touch one, it curls its body making it look like a ring. I have no idea where the king part came from but I grew up referring to it as “singsing hari“.
I think curling into a ring is its defense mechanism. It also gives out a pungent smell when you touch it too much. It has many legs but it’s not a centipede. Do you know what’s the real name of this one?

Rach: Don’t know the name but love the colors.

They usually are many when it rains. This one is already matured, the young ones are a bit soft and reddish in color. We also have them around in our backyard. Nice photo.
