Add Comfort and Style in Your Bedroom

Filed under: Home, Info Corner — Tags: — rachel @ 5:23 pm

I think that choosing the right bed is very important. Choosing a wrong one might equate to discomfort, lack of sleep and even stress. Buying a bed takes a lot of consideration such as comfort, style and price. It is very important to buy a comfortable bed to be assured of a good and peaceful sleep. Style is also important because a lovely bedroom atmosphere creates a positive feeling conducive for relaxation and sleep. Price is also another consideration for many especially nowadays when everything seems so expensive. Getting valuable savings without compromising on the quality of the product is vital.

After a tiring day doing your work, it is only natural that you expect to have to have a long and satisfying sleep. If you are after practicality and comfort, you can choose from the many stylish Divan Beds. I personally prefer the Solace Divan Bed. I’m sure it will go well in our Master’s Bedroom. I like the contemporary colors that you can choose from. It gives a buyer the freedom to select which one will compliment the room. The Solace Divan Bed looks sleek and modern and the name of the bed itself promises serenity and best of all, a peaceful sleep.

Inspiring SMS

Filed under: Inspirational — rachel @ 4:55 pm

My friend Gary sent me this inspiring text message.

Life is an undying cycle.
A battle of survival.

If we quit, then we’re a loser.
If we fall, stand up.

If we keep on complaining
about the miseries of life,
nothing will happen.

God doesn’t throw stones that
we cannot catch.
Live with Him and everything
will turn out right.

I admit that sometimes it seems easier to give up than continue trying. Whenever I feel this way, I just turn to God and ask for his guidance. He never lets me down. I thank God for always being there for me and my family.

Just a few more weeks and it is summer vacation here in the country. It’s a perfect time to relax and go somewhere nice.  I’ve been talking to a fellow mom and she said her kids have been asking her to take them to Disney World this coming summer vacation.  They can rent a  Florida Vacation Home and have a wonderful time exploring the place.  Florida’s Disney World is a great destination for the whole family.

My College Buddies

Filed under: Friendship — Tags: — rachel @ 4:30 am

It was a long weekend because Monday was a special non-working holiday to commemorate the Edsa Revolution. Two old college friends, Jane and Gary decided to come over and give me a visit. They brought Pancit Palabok (some kind of asian noodles) and native delicacy called Pichi Pichi. Yummy!

It was wonderful seeing them again. We talked about the good old days and some memorable highlights in school.  Despite the years, Jane and Gary still have their great sense of humor intact. I wish we could see each other more often.

Black Friday Online Shopping

Filed under: Info Corner — Tags: — rachel @ 8:49 pm

Black Friday is a much anticipated day in United States. It is the day after Thanksgiving and the start of traditional Christmas shopping. Many people in the United States claim that Black Friday is one of the busiest retail shopping day. Many residents look forward to this day to avail of big discounts. It is a common sight to see people lining up in stores before opening hours in order to be among the first ones to grab huge discounts on selected items.

While many look forward to Black Friday to do some holiday shopping, there are some people who would rather stay home to avoid the traffic and the congested shopping areas. Some people do not like the idea of the shopping frenzy that happens every Black Friday.

Thanks to technology, you can go shopping on Black Friday at the comfort of your own home. You can now avoid the hassle of standing up online for several hours and competing with other shoppers to find the best deals. You can purchase sale items online by checking out www.blackfriday.info. Take advantage of great deals by receiving email alerts from the site informing you of latest Black Friday ads. The site features top brands and among my favorites are ToysRUS, Home Depot and Old Navy.
