Imagine that kind of movement in the air! As the snow and sleet insulate us from the cold and the clouds seem lower and lower, I am glad to enjoy your photo of a clear sky and the freedom of the breeze!
Hmm — I used to love flying kites with my dad when I was a kid, but in recent years I haven’t been able to keep one from crashing to the ground. I still try every spring, though.
One of my earliest memories is being with my dad in a field flying kites. It was the old fashioned type, hand-made with strips of sheets for a tail. March was always the month for kite flying where I grew up…Fond memories.
Thanks for the trip.

Kites are really fascinating. I remember my boys allways had to buy kites, when on Vacation at windy places.
But, here where we live, it’s not at all windy.
Wish it was kite season here!
Snowing so hard right now, I can’t see the building across the street!
It’s another “what’s under the microscope?” wordless wednesday at my blog this week!

The kites are so colourful. I haven’t been flying a kite for more than 3 decades!! It reminds me that I have to go kite flying with my son one day.
